"The audience of thousands experienced something wonderful at our 4th Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival. Savor's outreach is grand and the group of consummate musicians, led by the stinging guitar of its lead, Michael Caroff, left the masses begging for more. In addition to their talent, the members of Savor also reflect the cultural diversity of the people of the City of Los Angeles. I commend you on a fabulous high-energy performance. Your contribution to the Festival took our event to another level. We look forward to working with Savor again!"

SAVOR While the real Carlos Santana is out sharing his transcendent guitar playing with any flash-in-the-pan pop star looking to ride his legendary coattails, Savor, a tribute to the 57-year-old six-string icon, are preserving the original fiery spirit of the groundbreaking Latin rock ensemble he started three decades ago. Featuring a lineup of appropriately accomplished musicians, the band incorporates every shifting era of Santana's long career into their repertoire, from classics like "Oye Como Va" and "Evil Ways" up through his late 90s renaissancealthough there's no confirmation on whether the singer for a Matchbox 20 cover band will join them on "Smooth." The band performs in downtown Ventura as part of the city's annual Fourth of July Street Fair.

"Savor really captured the sound and spirit of Santana! They got an enthusiastic encore -- and that's only the second time it's happened in 15 years of concerts. People were coming up to me and asking 'Where did you find these guys?' "
